Multiple Intelligence and the Performance of Indonesian EFL Learners

Many ways of EFL teaching have been practiced by teachers to optimally improve the learners’ performance in English. However, results many times did not meet our expectations. Therefore, this research aims find a possible better way considering students’ multiple intelligence (MI). A quantitative method ex post facto design was conducted. The data were collected from students learners studying English Department Education, Cenderawasih University, consisting 236 as subject research. analysis used non-parametric test, Kruskal Wallis, compare groups’ scores. result shows that there is no significant difference among groups MI. This suggests MI does influence performance. might be caused strategies lecturers who consider their processes. Therefore it suggested conduct further comprehensive on intelligence-based with higher levels ability and or adult learners.
